
Sony has revealed a few of PlayStation Plus Extra's launch games, which will include Death Stranding, God of War, Marvel's Spider-Man, Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Mortal Kombat 11, and Returnal. Sony has yet to reveal which retro games will be coming to PlayStation Plus Premium, except that there will be 340 titles added to the service. Related: Persona 5 Is First PS Plus Collection Game To Be Removed From Service The regions without access to cloud streaming will have access to a different top tier, named PlayStation Plus Deluxe, which won't have the streaming options or PS3 games, but will be cheaper than PlayStation Plus Premium. PlayStation Plus Premium is the top tier and it will add downloadable and streamable versions of PS1, PS2, and PSP games. PlayStation Plus Extra combines PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, adding a library of downloadable PS4 games and streamable PS3 games.

PlayStation Plus Essential is the same as the version of PlayStation Plus that exists now, including the price point. There are some first-party PlayStation games that are guaranteed to appear on the service, but Sony needs the help of third-party developers if it wants to make PlayStation Plus Premium a success, and there are certain games that will make the service more attractive to both the mainstream audience and longtime PlayStation fans.
